Refund & Cancellation Policy of ILS Hospitals
This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments made by patients or their representatives for services availed at ILS Hospitals (“Hospital”) and the patient agrees to be bound by this Policy.
1.Appointments & Consultations:
1.1 Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance prior to the scheduled appointment time.
1.2 Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed.
1.3 Where an appointment is cancelled by the Hospital or the consulting doctor due to unavoidable circumstances, the consultation fee already paid shall be refunded or adjusted against a future appointment. The decision of the hospital will be final in this regard.
2.Diagnostic Tests & Health Packages:
2.1 Payments made for diagnostic tests or health check-up packages are non-refundable once the testing process has been initiated.
2.2 Where diagnostic tests or packages are cancelled prior to initiation, refund eligibility, if any, shall be determined by the Hospital.
3.Procedures & Hospital Admission:
3.1 Any advance payment made towards medical procedures or hospital admission shall be adjusted against the final hospital bill.
3.2 Refund of any excess amount, if applicable, shall be processed only after discharge and completion of final invoice verification & reconciliation.
4.Refund Processing:
4.1 All approved refunds shall be processed back to the original mode/account of payment used by the patient or payer.
4.2 The standard timeline for processing refunds is 7–14 (seven to fourteen) working days, subject to internal verification, banking procedures, and third-party payment gateway timelines.
5.Duplicate / Excess Payments:
5.1 In the event of duplicate or excess payments received due to technical, system-related, or banking errors, the excess amount shall be refunded after due verification by the Hospital’s finance department within 7-10 working days.
5.2 No interest shall be payable on such refunds.
6.Force Majeure:
The Hospital shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in refund processing caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited & liable for any loss or damages caused thereby, where the same is occasioned by any cause, which is beyond control of the hospital including but not limited to an Act of God such as flood, lightning, earthquake, fire, explosion, inundation, sabotage, pandemic, epidemic, equipment failure as a result of an event of Force Majeure, sabotage, damage rendered by a patient party, civil disturbance, war, illegal strikes involving the employees of the hospital.
7.Right to Amend:
The Hospital reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy at any time, without prior notice.
8.Governing Law & Jurisdiction:
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the concerned State laws, and the courts having jurisdiction over the location of the Hospital shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
