Professional Highlights

Endourology

Trained and performing all endourological procedure with main emphasis on PCNL (Adult and Pediatric), Laparoscopic assisted PCNL beside routine procedures like TURP, URS, VIU.

Lasers

Have undergone training and have successfully performed Holmium Laser Prostatectomy and other procedures using Holmium Lasers at the premier Institute of the R.G Stone Urological Hospital, located at New Delhi.
Have delivered lectures during Conference to Doctors from Singapore, in the various Techniques of Laser Surgery and Holmium Prostatectomy, held at the R.G. Stone Urological Institute, New Delhi in 2007.
Started HOLEP and RIRS at Arogya hospital, which is the only Laser centre in the state.

Laparoscopic uro-surgery

Started with basic now performing various advanced laparoscopic procedures like Laparoscopic ureterolithotomy, Laparoscopic pyelolithotomy, Laparoscopic pyeloplasty (Both in Adult and paediatric patients), Laparoscopic Simple and Radical nephrectomy, Laparoscopic Radical Nephro- urethrectomy, Laparoscopic repair of bladder rupture, Laparoscopic CAPD catheter insertion, Laparoscopic Psoas hitch with ureteric reimplantation and Laparoscopic vesico-vaginal fistula repair, VEILs for carcinoma Penis etc.
I have actively assisted in performing Laparoscopic surgeries (Simple and Advanced) during my residency. I have done Mini-residency Programmes (2 days) for the same from the premier Laparoscopic Institution at Nadiad, Gujarat. Beside this I regularly attend various workshops on Laparoscopic Urology to be abreast with the latest techniques.

Reconstructive urethral surgeries

Another area of great interest is Reconstructive urethral surgeries like Simple and Complex Urethroplasties, Hypospadias, Epispadias, Ureteral reconstruction, Exstrophy Bladder, incontinence surgery etc.

Uro-Oncosurgery

Performed various surgeries like Radical Nephrectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, Radical Cystoto-prostatectomy, Radical Prostatectomy, Partial and Total Penectomy, Orchidectomy with RPLND.
Done laparoscopic radical nephrectomy, laparoscopic radical Nephroureterectomy with bladder cuff excision and Laparoscopic VEIL.

Paediatric Urology

This is the most challenging urology subspecialty which demands utmost skill and sincerity in diagnosing and managing various disorders. Performed various surgeries like Hypospadias, Ureteric Re-implantation for Reflux and Obstructive Megaureter, Posterior Urethral Valves, Undescended Testis, Ectopic Ureter and Ureterocoele, Paediatric PCNL and Paediatric laparoscopic urology etc.

Renal Transplantation

I have actively assisted in performing Renal Transplantation (Live and Cadaveric), during donor and recipient procedure and was part of the Transplant team throughout my residency.

Female urology, Urodynamics and ESWL

Performed various surgeries like Vesico-vaginal, Uretero-vaginal and Recto-vaginal Surgeries. TVT and TOT etc. Have been well trained in performing Urodynamics studies with training in Video Urodynamics. Have performed ESWL under in Ultrasound and Fluoroscopic Guidance.
