Description
Dr Ekta Batavia Jain is a skill surgeon and clinician with her speciality in Ophthalmic Surgeries. She has special interest in Retinal Surgeries, ROP, Uvea, Cataract, Glaucoma, Neuro-ophthalmology.
After finishing her schooling from Raipur, she did her MBBS from Wardha (M.H.) following which she did her DNB Ophthalmology from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Having finished her specialization she worked in AIIMS Raipur for more than a year, where she was actively involved in patient care managing complicated cases including ocular trauma and also as a teaching faculty for MBBS and Post Graduate students.
She then pursued Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina Surgeries from esteemed Shankar Nethralaya, Chennai, where she got exposed to difficult retinal surgeries including ocular tumors and a special training on screening and treating ROP. She had been involved in many paper and poster presentations and won few of them. Was winner in various quiz competitions as well held in regional conferences.
