Child orphanage home
GPT Group supported the orphanage house Aashar Alo, Kolkata and spent time with the orphan children. Food, refreshments were arranged and small gifts were also presented to orphan kids. Moreover, special entertainment programmes were organized for the children such as fun game segments. One of the other highlights of the visit was to gift stationary materials.
Employee children educational assistance
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the medium through which we can give back to society. The Act provides mandatory contribution towards CSR with education being specified as an eligible activity. The role of CSR in supporting child education can play a very vital role in creating positive growth in the society. CSR in education has involved steps like promoting education, providing scholarships, increasing access to education and higher education, gender equality in education. Here in GPT Group we also try to maintain this novel initiative by extending educational support for our employees.
Road safety barriers
The huge numbers of private vehicles, heterogeneous traffic and limited road space have led to the problem of congestion on the Indian city roads. The situation is no different in Kolkata & Howrah. ILS Hospitals is thankful to Bidhannagar Traffic Police & Howrah City Police for allowing to place Road Safety Barriers.
Safety measures and long term recommendations are made to improve the road safety situation of Kolkata & Howrah by arranging Road Safety Barriers at Bidhannagar in Kolkata area and at Golabari in Howrah area under supervision of Bidhannagar Traffic Police & Howrah City Police. Road safety barriers increase visibility of the road edge and safe travel path, prevent breakthrough and create a strong barrier between hazards and the road.
